KIA Carnival Overview
What is the price of the Kia Carnival in the UAE?
Minivans are among the most practical family carriers on road today. However, they lack the cool and robust factor of sports utility vehicles (SUVs). Some manufacturers have tried and failed. The 2025 Kia Carnival, thankfully, doesn’t fall into that league. It has a starting price of AED 104,900.
How many variants of Kia Carnival are available in the UAE?
The 2025 Kia Carnival is available in two models.
Which variant of Kia Carnival offers the best value?
The 2025 Kia Carnival Top offers the best value. It comes with six additional features over the entry-level version but is priced higher.
What are the key features of Kia Carnival?
The fourth-generation Kia Carnival looks massive. Despite its huge proportions, it doesn’t look ungainly from any angle. The front-end looks aggressive, much like a true-blue SUV. Kia’s signature Tiger Nose grille enhances the appeal. The grille is flanked on both ends by edgy-looking headlamp units and daytime running lights (DRLs). The 2025 Kia Carnival gets all-around LED lighting. The fog lights are placed lower down the bumper. The skid plates have also been updated. Kia has done remarkably well in styling a massive car like Carnival. The 18-inch diamond-cut wheels, garnish on the side-ill and C-pillar with matte chrome inserts, functional roof rails, and mammoth windows, all combine for a pleasing visual appeal.
The rear-end of the 2025 Kia Carnival is much simpler. The taillights are connected with a light strip. The rear wiper is tucked under the spoiler. The trunk door is electrically operated.
The interior of the 2025 Kia Carnival gets faux-leather upholstery, including the multifunction steering wheel. The hard plastic parts are carefully hidden, albeit some visible bits on the doors. But the piano-black parts are prone to smudges and finger prints The sliding doors open wide, making entry and exit easy. There are two lounge-type captain’s chairs in the middle but they can’t be removed. The large windows get manual shade. The three-zone climate control and the dual-sunroof lend the car an upmarket feel.
The dashboard gets two 12.3-inch touchscreen panels. The icons are easy to navigate and touch-response is fantastic. The main infotainment unit packs a long list of features and is connected to a 12-speaker Bose system. The central console looks classy with the rotatory gear selector. There’s a separate head-up display unit. The dashboard doesn’t exactly look spectacular but is premium nevertheless. Storage space is somewhat limited in the 20255 Kia Carnival. There’s no foldout tray. Even the bottle holders are suitable for only 500ml bottles.
Is the Kia Carnival spacious?
With 5,115mm length, 1,985 mm width, and 1,755 mm height, the 2025 Kia Carnival is among the most spacious minivans out there. All seats get great cushioning and lumbar support. The two middle seats offer lounge-like comfort and can be electronically operated for reclining and footrest function. They can be moved in a number of ways. There’s in fact generous space for occupants to lift their feet almost straight up on the footrest. There’s no dearth of legroom and headroom, courtesy the straight and flat roof. Unlike other minivans, space on the third row of the Kia Carnival is actually usable. The last row gets bench type seats than can comfortably accommodate two adults. Under-thigh support is a bit lacking though. The first four seats have heating and cooling function. The climate-control settings are a tad difficult to reach from the two middle seats.
The two seats in the second row lacks tumble-down function and that’s a big pain-point. The captain’s seats need to be slid forward to access the last row. The sliding doors, low seat height, and grab handles make things a bit easier.
What are the engine and transmission options for Kia Carnival?
The 2025 Kia Carnival is equipped with a liquid-cooled, turbocharged, six-cylinder, 3.3-liter petrol engine that produces 280PS/336Nm. The motor is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The ride quality is probably the best in class with the superbly comfortable seats, particularly the two middle captain’s seats. The suspension system sweetens up things. It absorbs all road imperfections and round off most of the bigger bumps. The steering is nicely balanced and promptly responds to driver’s commands. Normal, Eco, Sport and Smart are the four drive modes. A car as big as this isn’t expected to be a corner-craver. But the body roll is minimum, even with a higher ground clearance than other minivans. With a superb in-cabin noise insulation, the 2025 Kia Carnival is the quietest car in its class.
What is the fuel efficiency of Kia Carnival?
The 2025 Kia Carnival boasts a claimed fuel efficiency of 15 km/l, positioning it as a competitive choice among MPVs. However, in real-world urban driving conditions, the Carnival typically delivers a mileage of around 11-12 km/l, which can vary depending on factors such as traffic, driving style, and load. On highways, the vehicle's mileage improves noticeably, often exceeding 13 km/l due to more consistent speeds and reduced stop-and-go driving. This makes the Kia Carnival a practical option for families and long-distance travelers seeking a balance between performance and fuel economy.
What safety features does Kia Carnival offer?
The fourth-generation Kia Carnival gets a 360-degree camera and all-around parking sensors. Other safety equipment includes blind-spot monitoring, pedestrian detection, automatic high-beam headlamps, adaptive cruise control, automated emergency braking, and multiple airbags.
What colour options are available for Kia Carnival?
The 2025 Kia Carnival is available in Snow White Pearl, Aurora Black Pearl, Flare Red, Deep Chroma Blue, Astra Blue, Panthera Metal, Ceramic Silver, and Silky Silver colour options.
Is Kia Carnival worth buying?
The 2025 Kia Carnival isn’t any random minivan. It’s not for people on a budget, who want a basic family hauler. The Carnival is in the executive class of chauffeur-driven minivans. It’s for a relaxed drive between meetings. It’s for those who want a plush ride every time with their entire family
What are the alternatives to Kia Carnival?
The 2025 Kia Carnival faces competition from the Toyota Innova Hycross, GAC GN6, Hyundai Stargazer.
What else should you know about Kia Carnival?
The 2025 Kia Carnival is positioned as one of the premium options in its segment, offering a blend of luxury, performance, and practicality. While it is among the most expensive models in its category, the Carnival justifies its price with a host of advanced features, exceptional build quality, and a spacious cabin designed for maximum comfort. Adding to its appeal is Kia’s generous five-year/150,000 km manufacturer’s warranty, which provides buyers with peace of mind and underscores the brand's confidence in the vehicle's durability and reliability. This warranty coverage makes it a strong contender for families or businesses seeking a high-end MPV with long-term dependability.

KIA Carnival Interior & Features
The cabin of this all-new Kia Carnival is a huge departure from that of the model it has replaced, showcasing modernity in its truest form. There are a lot of comfort and convenience features offered in the immensely spacious cabin of the Carnival, which is available in three upholstery options – Black and grey, Black and Saddle brown and Black and Martian brown.
The wide and horizontally laid fully digital cockpit, which comprises two 12.3-inch screens for the instrument console and touchscreen infotainment system, add some futurism to the cabin of the Carnival. Thanks to lesser physical buttons and a compact design, the centre console looks less cluttered and premium. The cabin looks further premium and wider with the long partition panel between the upper and lower centre consoles, while the waterfall-like lower centre console is garnished with gloss black and satin chrome inserts.
The host of premium features offered in the Kia Carnival is a powered front and second row of seats, relaxation mode for the second row of seats, memory, heating and ventilation function for first row seats, wireless charger, power sliding doors and tailgate, walk-in device, dual pane sunroofs, three-zone automatic climate control with individual controls for rear AC vents, manual window curtains for rear passengers and more.
Carnival Exterior
For its amazing road presence, which is a perfect combination of both large dimensions and premium design elements, the Kia Carnival is a stunning vehicle to look at. This new generation version of the Carnival takes forward the benchmarks set up by its predecessor by bringing in a whole lot of modernity and sleekness to the package.
Like all the Kia offerings, the Carnival is also adorned with a ‘tiger nose’ grille, albeit in a very sharp and angular form. Surrounded with chrome garnish, the grille also gets much more chrome for the inserts within it. The grille here is flanked by all-LED headlamps, which are horizontally stretched outwards making the overall front fascia of the Carnival look even wider. The zig-zag-shaped daytime running LEDs further add more drama to the headlamps. The thin strips of chrome placed below the small LED fog lamps add more premium essence to the front profile.
When you look at the Kia Carnival from the side, you will be impressed with its sheer size and length, which is further beautified by the subtle use of chrome on the body cladding. More premium essence is introduced by the satin chrome finish for the unique design of the sloping C-pillar. The long doors and wheelbase of the Carnival make it look longer, and like in any other traditional MPV, the Carnival has sliding panels for the rear doors. The dual-tone finish for the 19-inch alloy wheels also looks premium. At the back, Kia has adorned the Carnival with sleek-looking LED combination lamps for the tail light assembly, which further looks more premium with the thin LED light bar connecting the tail lamps.
KIA Carnival Ride & Handling
With a soft suspension setup on offer, the Kia Carnival gets four drive modes – Normal, Smart, Sport and Eco, all of which offer personalised performance, ride quality and steering feedback, depending on the driving behaviour. While it is supremely comfortable in all three/four rows inside, the large dimensions can prove hard to tame in congested traffic conditions.
Carnival Engine & Fuel Consumption
There are two powertrain options with which the Kia Carnival is being offered in the UAE. First is the 3.5-litre Atkinson cycle V6 engine shared with the Telluride, which here is paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission and produces 272 PS of power and 331 Nm of torque. The other engine option is a 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel engine, which makes 202 PS of power and 441 Nm of torque, and is also paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Kia has retained the combination of the 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel engine and the 8-speed automatic gearbox, which continues to be the powertrain for the Carnival as standard. This powertrain claims a maximum power output of 202 bhp and a peak torque output of 440 Nm. There are four drive modes on offer – Normal, Sport, Smart and Eco.
KIA Carnival Braking & Safety
The long list of safety features provided in the Kia Carnival comprises front, side, curtain and driver knee airbags, ABS with EBD, blind spot collision warning, forward collision assist, surround-view monitor, rear-cross traffic collision avoidance assist, vehicle stability management, safe-exit assist, tyre pressure monitoring system, smart cruise control, hill start assist, front and rear parking sensors and lane following assist.
Carnival Verdict
The massive road presence and dimensions of the Kia Carnival might take some time to get accustomed to for driving. However, once you get nervous, the Carnival can blow your minds with its supremely comfortable, spacious and tech-laden cabin.
