Volkswagen unveils ID.7 GTX with 340hp AWD configuration

ABU DHABI: Volkswagen has expanded its sporty electric lineup with the introduction of the all-new ID.7 GTX sedan. The new model features sportier design elements, extended range, and increased power. The ID.7 GTX is the sixth ID model to carry the GTX badge. 

Volkswagen has long been preparing to launch its flagship sedan, featuring a dual-motor powertrain shared with the ID.7 Tourer and ID. Buzz models. Equipped with an 86 kWh battery, similar to the ID.7 Pro S, it supports rapid charging up to 200 kW, achieving 10-80 percent charge in under 30 minutes. The ID.7 GTX is anticipated to boast an impressive range of up to 685 km.

The Volkswagen ID.7 GTX sedan’s exterior features sporty design elements including a distinctive bumper, sleek black gloss trim accents, and LED 'arrowhead' daytime running lights. Inside, the sedan looks similar to the GTX Tourer model. It features a modern and spacious interior layout designed keeping in mind functionality and comfort.

The Volkswagen ID.7 GTX sedan will have enhanced chassis dynamics in comparison to the ID.7 GTX Tourer. It will also have a sportier steering setup. You can also customize your vehicle with Dynamic Chassis Control contributing to an excellent dynamics management system.

Volkswagen has not revealed any details about the launch of the ID.7 GTX sedan in the UAE.
