One of the most powerful Ferrari engines is on sale
Ferrari is selling off its one of the most powerful and successful Formula One car designs of all time that uses the Pomeroy index system. It is the 48th edition Ferrari engine that debuted back in March 2002 and powered the Ferrari F2002.
The F2002’s engine is 100% steel, uses a twin-camshaft distribution, Magneti Marelli Indirect Electronic Fuel Injection system, 4-valves per cylinder and a multi-disc clutch. It comes with an engine capacity of 2,9996.62 cc which is capable of churning out a max power of 846 PS at 17,800 rpm.
This is the same engine that helped Michael Schumacher and Ferrari won the Brazilian Grand Prix. Additionally, it led Scuderia Ferrari to win 14 out of 15 races. Not just this, it also received the Constructors’ title and the Drivers’ title at Budapest. Like you are aware that no Ferrari engine is exactly alike, owning this engine will make you a rare collector of things that no one else in the world has possession of.
In order to buy this engine, you need to shell out $US 90,000 (AED 330,570 approx). This is just for the engine which is in talks here, and not for the car. And if you own it, you’ll also get a certificate of origin signed by the Scuderia Ferrari Team Principal.
For pre-ordering, you can visit the official link. You can also add it to your wishlist in case you are short of a few dollars and making necessary arrangements, but then you need to keep your fingers crossed and hope that nobody else buys it.
