MSO reveals McLaren 600LT in stealth grey
ABU DHABI: The McLaren Special Operations division (MSO) believes in the concept of personalization as witnessed by their recent updates. As the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance is nearing, the McLaren team has revealed their upcoming variant of the new McLaren 600LT. For those who don’t know, Pebble Beach Concours D’ Elegance is an automotive charitable event that is held in California every year.
Also termed as the ‘McLaren 600LT in Stealth Grey by MSO’, the Macca receives a paint finish from the MSO Bespoke palette, integrated with few upgrades from MSO Bespoke brochure. To put it in simple words, the car comes with a wide range of expensive options with it.
Fortunately, the car comes with vivid colour combos, with the orange highlights in the car’s aerodynamics pairing with the Stealth grey. The car also houses a carbon-fibre roof scoop from the F1 Longtail.
The special edition variant houses door mirrors, rear bumper, exterior door inserts, diffuser, rear deck and service made of carbon fibre. To further minimize the weight, the carmaker has also included trails, front fender louvre and roof made of carbon fibre. The classy look is further enhanced with the lightweight alloy wheels painted in gloss black.
The racing seats are sourced from Senna with orange contrast stitching to match the exteriors. Several other parts like the centre tunnel and door panels are also made of carbon-fibre.
The MSO edition McLaren 600LT also comes with Bowers and Wilkins audio system for on-road entertainment. Rest of the upgrades include embroidered headrests, hand painted key and etched throttle.
Peeping under the hood, there is an M838T 3.8L V8 twin-turbo engine that produces a maximum power of 600 PS and peak torque of 620 Nm. To your surprise, the roof scoop is a functional part and is coupled with the engine.
