Mercedes unleashes F1-inspired AMG GT 63 Pro
ABU DHABI: Mercedes-AMG has introduced the limited "Motorsport Collectors Edition" of the AMG GT 63 Pro, designed for dedicated F1 fans. Following the 2020 AMG GT Black Series 'P One Edition,' it features a distinctive black F1-inspired livery, seemingly influenced by the brand's W14 and W15 F1 cars from the 2023 and 2024 seasons. Production is limited to just 200 units.

It also includes the AMG Night Package, which adds blacked-out badges and grille, along with a fixed rear spoiler and an optional panoramic glass roof. The car is equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tyres, measuring 305/30 ZR21 at the rear and 295/30 ZR21 at the front.
Inside, the Petronas colours can be seen on the stitching of the AMG Performance bucket seats, upholstered in black Nappa leather, which also features the AMG crest. The exclusivity of the car is highlighted by the "1 out of 200" emblem, along with a 360-degree camera, Burmester sound system, head-up display, and driver assistance package. Each vehicle is also equipped with a custom indoor car cover.
The powertrain of the Motorsport Collectors Edition is similar to the AMG GT 63 Pro. It comes with a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 generating around 603 bhp and 850 Nm of torque. With the help of a nine-speed automatic transmission power is sent to all four wheels. It takes just 3.2 seconds to achieve 0-62 mph and a top speed of 197 mph.
Pricing for the limited-edition AMG GT has not yet been announced, but it is expected to be slightly higher than the £180,905 (AED 919,926) price tag of the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 4MATIC+ Launch Edition.
