The EV3 will be available in two versions - Standard and GT Line.
The EV3 draws inspiration from the "Opposites United," design philosophy of Kia and shares aesthetic details with the EV9, its flagship counterpart. It has an angular front fascia with a sealed-off ‘Tiger Nose’ grille flanked by the 'star map' LED lighting pattern featuring L-shaped LED DRLs. The front bumper merges seamlessly with the overall fascia contributing to a cohesive and unified design.
The EV3 measures 4,300 mm in length, 1,560 mm in height, and 1,850 mm in width, with a generous wheelbase of 2,680 mm. In terms of dimensions, it closely resembles the Seltos. The electric SUV boasts a boot capacity of approximately 460 litres, and its storage versatility is enhanced by an additional 25-litre frunk.
The EV3's cabin has a minimalist design with a 30-inch massive screen, integrating twin 12.3-inch displays for the digital cluster and infotainment and a 5-inch climate control display. It also comes with optimum storage options, such as a sliding table under the centre console that enhances its practicality.
Additional features include configurable ambient lighting, sustainable material upholstery, a personal AI voice assistant, a Harman Kardon sound system, an optional 12-inch head-up display, and an ADAS suite. Notably, the EV3 is the first EV in Kia’s lineup to get a personal AI assistant.
Interior colour options include Warm Grey, Subtle Grey, and Blue finishes and you can get the GT trim in Onyx Black.
The standard EV3 is available with two battery pack options: 81.4kWh and 58.3kWh, the earlier one boasting around 600 km (WLTP) peak range. Both packs take just 31 minutes to charge from 10 to 80 percent, with the 81.4kWh supporting up to 102 kW fast charging and the 58.3kWh up to 128 kW. Both these variants have the same motor, producing around 201 bhp and 283 Nm of peak torque.
The EV3 features a front-wheel-drive system and takes 7.5 seconds to reach 100 km/h, with a top speed of 180 km/h. It offers i-Pedal version 3.0 for one-pedal driving and supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) charging.
Overall, the Kia EV3 showcases the brand's commitment to innovation and sustainability.
