Hyundai Ioniq 5 convoy to discover 5 ASEAN nations in 11 days

ABU DHABI: The Hyundai Ioniq 5 has kicked off the "Go Far with Zero Worries" tour, encompassing approximately 2,751 km of route over 11 days. This expedition promises an exploration of diverse driving conditions and terrains. The convoy, comprising five Hyundai Ioniq 5 EVs, was ceremoniously flagged off on November 20, 2023, at the Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore. 

The "Go Far with Zero Worries" tour underscores the commitment of Hyundai to sustainable mobility and allows spectators to witness the immense potential of EVs in redefining the future of the automotive world. 

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 convoy will start the tour from Singapore and will traverse Malaysia, Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam. The journey will conclude on November 30, 2023, at Ho Chi Minh City's Royal Palace. The convoy will explore over 20 destinations, including the Bayon Temple and Penang Heritage Walk. The tour marks cooperation across borders. 

This tour has been organized by Hyundai and the Association of Singapore and supported by the ASEAN headquarters of Hyundai. The convoy includes two cars from Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Indonesia and three from Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore. The tour features 24 participants, including AAS members, Hyundai representatives, influencers from ASEAN countries, and Hyundai club participants.

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 is available in two battery options in the UAE - 58 kWh and  72.6 kWh.
