Hyundai introduces 2020 Palisade, largest SUV from the brand till date
ABU DHABI: Hyundai has revealed the 2020 Palisade, the biggest SUV from the manufacturer stable till date. The vehicle is also bigger than the well-known Hyundai Santa Fe. The production of the 2020 Palisade will be done in South Korea. However, the manufacturer has not given any official word on whether it will be available outside North America or not.
The 2020 Palisade adorns the newest design language from Hyundai. It gets a bold U-shaped grill and the headlights are placed perfectly on the bumper. Also, the vehicle comes with LED daytime running lights. It comes with long doors and also has tall windows.
You can spot some defining lines on the fenders, doors and the quarter panel. A chrome strip has been mounted on the top of the windows,. At the rear, round tailgate is featured with two vertical taillights.
Inside the car, a free-standing infotainment screen, accompanied by the instrument cluster, has been provided. The cluster contains a large multi-info display with analogue as well as digital gauges. The vehicle features a wraparound dash design along with a wide centre console. Also, a push-button gear selector is offered in place of the traditional lever.
The 2020 Hyundai Palisade offers a seating capacity of eight passengers. The crossover comes with USB charging ports, which are mounted on all rows and also 16 cupholders are provided. Other features include intercom system, head-up display, adaptive cruise control, and power folding seats.
Only one engine option is available. The 2020 Palisade derives its required power from a 3.8-litre V6 engine. It is capable of pushing out a maximum of 291 PS power along with a peak torque of 355 Nm. The power is sent to all the four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.
