GMC launches two new Middle-East exclusive models; Sierra Elevation and AT4 regular cab

ABU DHABI: GMC has launched a couple of new models, the Sierra Elevation and AT4 Regular Cab Trims exclusively for the Middle-east market. The company had already launched the 2019 Sierra regular cab variant in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and GCC.

Both the cars have 5.3-litre V8 engines that deliver a power output of 355 hp along with a peak torque of 519 Nm. Features such as active fuel management and 6-speed automatic transmission are also available.  

The company has opted for the industry-first MultiPro Tailgate. There are six positions and functions that are unique. The MultiPro Tailgate feature ensures improved second tier loading along with load-stop solutions. Accessing the items in the box has become easier. Along with that, a standing workstation is also available. 

GMC has opted for the dual-function interior mirror on the rear camera mirror. Obstructions such as cargo or occupants can be overcome easily through this feature as it expands the vision. This rear camera mirror has a higher resolution camera as well as display. The next generation feature enables the view of the driver to be zoomed in or tilted, providing an improved rear vision.

For better looks, the company has opted for body coloured door handles, grille and bumper surround, along with contrasting black interior accents. 20-inch aluminium wheels are there for better handling. It also gets window trim and tow hooks. 

LED taillights along with LED fog lamps make their way to the rear of the coaster. In addition to that, special suspension tuning offers better comfort. Along with that, beefier shocks are also available and protective skid plates offer better safety.

All-terrain tyres coupled with low-range gearing make the cars suitable for driving on rough terrains. A dust exhaust system, along with a heavier duty air filter provides clean air to the people sitting inside the car. 

Other features include hill descent, a two-speed transfer case, a locking rear differential and many more.
