The cabin of the Lincoln Nautilus is bathed in luxury and is bestowed with a host of comfort and convenience features one expects from an SUV of this price. Lincoln is offering four leather upholstery options for the Nautilus – Sandstone, Slate, Ebony, and Ebony with Roast, all of which come with nice fit and finish levels and soft touch finish all around.

The three-spoke steering wheel of the Lincoln Nautilus is heavily laden with buttons for various functions, with a full-TFT 12.3-inch screen for the instrument console behind it. The centre console of the dashboard here comes with a free-standing 13.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, below which there are rectangular AC vents placed. The lower centre console looks broad and houses a cluster of buttons for the audio and climate control systems.

The cabin of the Lincoln Nautilus is further equipped with premium features like heated and ventilated front seats, power-adjustable front seats with massage function, a 19-speaker Revel Ultima audio system, a powered tailgate, panoramic sunroof, and more.

The Lincoln Nautilus might not look as majestic as the flagship Navigator with its crossover-squee design. However, the curves and design elements of the Nautilus are unique and unseen in other SUVs, which makes it a blissful sight on the roads, giving it a striking road presence.

At the front, the Lincoln Nautilus welcomes you with its open wide, and almost Bentley-like chrome grille, which is bathed in chrome and gets honeycomb inserts all over it. The sides of the grille are graced by the presence of large headlamps, which have rounded edges and come with all-LED illumination, along with L-shaped daytime running LEDs. Below the headlamps, there are sleek LED turn indicators placed differently. The bottom part of the front bumper has a sleek trapezoidal air dam and fog lamps placed adjacent to its sides.

The smooth contours flowing over the bonnet of the Lincoln Nautilus give it a crossover-like stance, but the large machined alloy wheels, high ground clearance, and heightened bonnet line make it look muscular. The front and rear fenders also come with striking curves over them, which flow towards the door panels. Like the front bumper, the wheel arches and bottom of the door panels also come with body cladding, with the latter also getting a thin chrome strip to add some elegance to the side profile.

The rear profile of the Lincoln Nautilus looks rather simple with bulging combination LED tail lamps, with an LED light bar joining the inner tail lamps placed on the boot lid. There is a thin strip of chrome flowing over the LED light bar, while the rear bumper has body cladding and a silver skid plate with exhaust ports on its corners.

Except for the base variant, the remaining variants of the Lincoln Nautilus are blessed with continuous control damping suspension at both front and rear, along with tilt and telescopic adjustable steering with memory function. The ride quality is set on a softer side, which enables the Nautilus to offer a plush and comfortable ride quality.

The base variant of the Lincoln Nautilus is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder twin-turbocharged petrol engine, which claims a maximum power output of 250 PS and a maximum torque output of 380 Nm. The other variants of the SUV come standard with a larger 2.7-litre V6 twin-turbocharged petrol engine, which produces 335 PS of maximum power and 515 Nm of maximum torque. All the variants of the Nautilus come with an all-wheel drive configuration and 8-speed automatic transmission as standard.

The Lincoln Nautilus is equipped with a host of safety features, including adaptive and speed-dependent headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, Lincoln Co-Pilot 360-degree, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, lane centring assist, eight airbags, AdvanceTrac with roll stability control, lane departure warning, lane keeping camera and enhanced park assist.

The Lincoln Nautilus might not be as world-widely popular as its European rivals but is equally plush, stylish, and luxurious inside out. The higher-spec variants of the Nautilus are worth investing in, with their higher equipment levels and the more powerful twin-turbo V6 engine option.
