Porsche recently launched the 2024 Taycan in the global market and it comes with minor styling updates along with an upgraded battery pack. The base Taycan now has a range of 678km, while the Turbo S model gets a range of 630 km. As for the UAE, the Taycan Cross Turismo is available in its old avatar and comes priced at AED 466,500. Powering the Taycan Cross is a 320 kWh battery that makes 435 hp of power and delivers a top speed of 220 kmph. On a single charge, the Taycan Cross Turismo can go up to a distance of 601km.

The Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo is the next step in the German super-luxury carmaker's all-electric ambition. It's based on the standard Taycan, and both cars share most of the specifications. But the 2024 Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo is visually different from the standard version. The interior, too, has been improved. The Cross Turismo gets more tech and driver-assist features. The car is available in four versions in the Emirates.
Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo Interior & Features
The higher trims of the 2024 Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo get two-tone leather seats and upholstery. The entry-level model gets a non-leather cabin. The cabin itself is premium, like all Porsches. There's a curved 16.8-inch full-color display behind the steering wheel that gives the driver information. It’s really crisp, but the view sometimes gets blocked by the steering's movement. The light and chassis controls also get touch-sensitive panels. There's a 10.3-inch touchscreen unit in the middle of the dashboard. Another vertically mounted 8.4-inch touchscreen is integrated into the central console. The latter is sometimes fidgety to operate particularly while driving. With the haptic feedback, it could be worse. The 2024 Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo gets 46 litres of boot space. Folding down the rear seat increases it to 1,212 litres.

The 2024 Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo is a bit more stylish and rugged than its standard version, as well as other luxury electric vehicles (EVs) available in the market. The cabin of the 2024 Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo is hugely spacious. The two front seats get electric adjustment. Getting into a perfect driving position is easy with the electrically adjustable steering wheel. The standard-fit comfort seats are superb for long trips. Sport seats are optional. The front seats enjoy superb legroom. Headroom on the rear seat, even with the optional panoramic sunroof, is good. All seats are nicely padded and come with lumbar support. The battery pack is placed beneath the floor but rear seat passengers don't have to sit thigh-up. There's a third seat but three adults at the back will be a squeeze. The 2024 Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo is equipped with dual permanent magnet motors that produce a combined power of 562 PS/650 PS. The motor is mated to a liquid-cooled lithium-ion, 83.7 kWh battery pack. The car comes with an 11kW onboard charger. The motor has a claimed mileage of 297 miles. The car sprints to action. The handling is super-efficient both on city streets and highways. But the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo is wide and needs a wider parking space.
