MG RX8 Good Car with Low Fuel Economy
Owning the car since its launch in UAE, over 3 years of ownership now with almost 57k on the ODO. Didnt have any issues so far, except the mileage is poor for a 4 cylinder engine. I get close to 350 Kms only for a full tank in city drive (mostly bumper to bumper traffic). Highway run gives close to 450 to 500 Kms. I feel may be turbocharger is the culprit. Otherwise, this is a very good car with value for money. However, resale value may be a bit challenging, since majority of the crows are still hanging with Toyota, Nissan & Hondas and skeptical to try new brands although they offer much more luxury, features at a lower price tag. Chinese cars are definitely creating their own market space through design and price, they will give a tough challenge to Korean & Japanese autos soon.
