The BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe variant is designed in 4 equally desirable sub-variants which are- the 420i Gran Coupe sub-variant, 428i sub-variant, 428i xDrive sub-variant and the 435i sub-variant. The highest performance variant, 435i is pumped-up by the revolutionary 2979cc 6cylinder 24 valve TwinPower Turbo engine, which burns oil to pour the reservoir with a maximum power output of 306 hp between 5800 to 6400 rpm and a maximum torque of 400 Nm between 1200 to 5000 rpm. This purely refined engine collectively with the 8-speed steptronic transmission catapults the car to establish a speed of 100 kmph from naught in about just 5.2 to 5.5 sec and attain a top speed of 250 kmph.
