Zeekr to debut in Singapore this year; When will it come to UAE?

ABU DHABI: Zeekr, the luxury electric vehicle subsidiary of Geely is expected to enter the Singapore market within this year to expand its global presence. The sales will start in the first half of 2024. 

As per the report published by Singapore's The Straits Times, Premium Automobiles has been appointed as the distributor of Zeekr in a memorandum that was signed in late December. Premium Automobiles Group has hinted that around June or July 2024, the first batch of the vehicle will be delivered to the owners. 

Zeekr is a very popular Chinese EV brand. Its association with Geely makes consumers feel confident about the capabilities and technology of Zeekr models. The international lineup includes the following models: Zeekr 009, Zeekr 007, Zeekr 001, and Zeekr X.

In the UAE, Zeekr is a good fit because consumers are willing to pay a huge amount to buy upper-end EVs. To sell its EVs in the UAE, Zeekr has signed a new partnership agreement with AW Rostamani Holdings.

In the UAE, the Geely subsidiary will start selling two models – the Zeekr X and Zeekr 001. In the UAE the initial deliveries will start in Q1 of 2024. 

The Zeekr X is an electric SUV that offers the perfect combination of compact dimensions with an impressive range and robust power. Available in dual-motor all-wheel-drive (428 hp) and single-motor rear-wheel-drive (272 hp) versions, it can achieve a top speed of 190 kmph. The 66 kWh battery outfitted in the vehicle provides an impressive range of up to 512 km.
