Volkswagen set to enter the EV wagon market with the ID 7 Tourer
ABU DHABI: Volkswagen is all set to roll out a new electric vehicle next year. The company teased the images of its first-ever EV estate, which will be called ID.7 Tourer.

The ID 7 Tourer's expected range has not been disclosed, but considering the 700 km range of the sedan, it's expected to come close. Volkswagen has not disclosed the technical details, but it's expected that it will share many of its specifications with the sedan. The sedan comes with two battery options: a new 86kWh unit that offers up to 700 km range and supports top-ups at 200kW and a 77kWh pack that offers an impressive 615 km range with 170kW charging. It can accelerate in approximately 6.0 seconds from 0 to 100 kmph in the fastest Pro S variant.
The Volkswagen ID 7 Tourer will share many of its features with the sedan. It will be equipped with a 15-inch infotainment touchscreen with the MIB software platform's enhanced version. Volkswagen has introduced a direct-access bar to allow you to use the main functions easily and access the main menu without the need to close active apps. It also comes with readily accessible climate controls and customizable home screens for apps you use on a frequent basis.
