Upcoming Cadillac Opulent Velocity Concept to get zero-emission technology

ABU DHABI: Cadillac is known for producing outstanding concept cars like the Cien, Ciel, Sixteen, and Elmiraj. Now, the automaker is preparing to reveal a new concept car to celebrate its V-Series sub-brand’s 20th anniversary. Teased with a video and image, the upcoming show car has been named the Cadillac Opulent Velocity.

Cadillac's upcoming Opulent Velocity concept will celebrate the V-series line’s present, past, and future while embodying the dual identity of the brand. The concept will most likely be a zero-emissions vehicle, signaling a shift towards sustainable mobility without labeling it as an EV.

The teaser video released for the new V-Series is not detailed, offering minimal information about the upcoming model. From video screenshots, the Opulent Velocity concept seems to be more car-like than the SUV. It has a low roofline, an aggressive front end, and a lit Cadillac badge.

The highlight of Cadillac's teaser video is it's notably loud sound that will remind you of Dodge's "Fratzonic Exhaust" approach. This also hints at the fact that the electric V-Series concept will come with auditory enhancements.

The latest teaser of Cadillac arrives two decades after the debut of the V-Series at Sebring, marked by the debut of the CTS-V R in the SCCA Pro Racing World Challenge GT series. Cadillac hasn’t announced yet when the Opulent Velocity will make its debut, but we are hopeful that we’ll learn more soon.
