Toyota Innova Zenix-based Suzuki Invicto launched in India

ABU DHABI: Suzuki has rolled out the Indian adaptation of the Toyota Hycross named Invicto. Just like the Toyota model, the new Suzuki Invicto also features a hybrid drivetrain. However, a few design changes are there that help the latest model to stand out. 

The shape of the grille is similar to the Zenix, but the Invicto features a two-bar signature on that panel. The differences can also be seen in the headlights and the set of LED daytime running lights. Meanwhile, the Invicto's bumper is identical to Zenix, but there is a silver strip by the apron. 

The Invicto's squared wheel arches balance the precision-cut alloy wheels and lend an SUV-inspired attitude. 

The new Invicto is being offered in seven- and eight-seater options. The cabin is comfortable and premium with opulent Champagne Gold accents and a chic all-black design. It also features a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. 

The MPV is equipped with tons of storage compartments, illuminated cup holders, retractable cooled cup holders on the dashboard, illuminated storage compartments, accessory sockets with multiple charging ports, folding side tables in second-row captain seats, and personal reading lamps. 

The new Suzuki Invicto is powered by an "Intelligent Electric Hybrid" system, comprising a two-litre engine mated, an electric motor, and an e-CVT transmission. The Hybrid system's standout and eco-friendly features include multiple drive modes enabling a seamless switch between the electric, hybrid, and engine drive modes.

The MPV also values customer safety by integrating various passive and active safety features, such as six airbags as standard, a 360-view camera with dynamic guidelines, and a tire Pressure Monitoring System.
