Toyota GR Supra Super GT Concept previewed at Tokyo Auto Salon

ABU DHABI: Toyota previews the GR Supra Super GT Concept yet another time, this time it’s at the Tokyo Auto Salon (TAS). The company has done it quite a few times now and with all the teasers of the new Toyota Supra, the company is just beating around the bush.

News about the new Supra and the previews of the concept have become a never-ending thing now. The grand showcase of the Toyota Supra is said to happen at the NAIAS (North American International Auto Show) in Detroit.

However, in meantime, the company decides to preview the Toyota GR Supra Super GT Concept at the TAS. The sports car concept looks absolutely fabulous, with ground-kissing low and wide profile, massive wing, and big air inlets. The front gets full-width air intake, winglike projections under the nose, and deep air-bypassing canals at the bonnet.

The wheel arches are quite broad, in fact so, that they hide the multi-spoke wheels that are wrapped around by Bridgestone Potenza rubber. The sills present on the sides contribute to car’s aerodynamics big time while the rear look is completed by a massive wing, a diffuser and boomerang-shaped taillights.
