The Riddara RD6 hits UAE roads: A game-changing electric pickup

ABU DHABI: AGMC, Riddara Vehicles' official distributor in the UAE, has launched the Riddara RD6, the first fully electric 4×4 pickup. This vehicle represents a huge leap in sustainable transportation, combining zero emissions with rugged performance. The RD6 has been designed to meet the demands of both off-road adventures and urban enthusiasts.

This announcement follows the partnership between AGMC, an authorized distributor for Geely and a prominent vehicle importer in the UAE, and RIDDARA, an electric pickup truck brand that was formed under the Geely Holding Group. Throughout the UAE, AGMC, as part of this agreement, will distribute RIDDARA vehicles.

The RIDDARA RD6 is based on the Multiple Attached Platform of Geely for electric pickups. It comes with a 422 hp motor and 585 Nm of torque. It takes just 4.5 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 kph. On a full charge, it offers up to 455 km of driving range. With a loading capacity of 865 kg and over 1,200 liters of cargo space, it’s a great choice for outdoor adventures. Additionally, its discharge capability is around 21 kWh allowing drivers to power appliances such as lighting and refrigerators, making it a great choice for camping trips.

The RIDDARA RD6 comes with a 10.2-inch LCD instrument panel and a 14.6-inch central control screen for access to important information. Some of the tech highlights include adaptive cruise control, smart keyless entry, and an eight-speaker sound system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Comfort has been enhanced with automatic climate control and premium leather seats. Safety features include automatic emergency braking, six airbags, pedestrian protection, and collision warning.

The RIDDARA RD6 is offered in two versions: the 86 kWh model priced at AED 169,500 and the 73 kWh model at AED 139,500. You can choose from eight dual-tone and single-color options depending on your style. Now bookings are open and deliveries will begin in the first week of October 2024.
