Tesla Cybertruck finally hits the US roads

ABU DHABI: It has been around four years since Elon Musk announced the Tesla Cybertruck. The Cybertruck has finally debuted in the US, reshaping the automotive industry's landscape. The fully electric Tesla Cybertruck's production version debuted at an event held in Texas at Tesla's Gigafactory. This event was live-streamed on X, and it showcased the advanced features and futuristic design of the truck. The truck's first ten units were also delivered to the owners. 

The Tesla Cybertruck is available in three variants, catering to the needs of customers with different preferences. The Base Rear-Wheel Drive model is available at a starting price of USD 60,990 (223,985.78 AED). The All-Wheel Drive variant is available at USD 79,990 (293,763.27 AED). For those looking to make the most of the Cybertruck performance, the Cyberbeast is offered at USD 99,990 (367,213.27 AED).

The Tesla Cybertruck lineup comes with diverse powertrains catering to the needs of customers with different preferences. The Rear-Wheel Drive model comes with a single motor offering around 402 km of range. It takes around 6.5 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 96 kmph.

The All-Wheel Drive variant has dual motors, and it offers around 547 km of range. It takes 4.1 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 96 kmph, and with a range extender, its range can extend to 708 km. The top-most variant is equipped with three electric motors, and it offers 857 PS and 13,959 Nm. It takes just 2.6 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph. On a single charge, it offers around 515 km of range. 

The design of the Tesla Cybertruck is similar to its prototype version. It features LED lighting strips and sleek surfaces. The external panels feature ultra-hard stainless steel, protecting the truck against corrosion and dents. The truck has four-wheel steering and an independent adaptive air suspension. 

The interior of the Tesla Cybertruck is minimalist with ambient lighting. It boasts an 18.5-inch touchscreen and a square steering wheel. Rear passengers can avail of the benefit of the 9.4-inch touchscreen, 65W USB-C ports, wireless charging, a built-in HEPA filter, and power outlets. It also comes with diverse accessories.

The Tesla Cybertruck's new batch will be delivered next year.
