Suzuki e Vitara debuts as the brand’s first electric vehicle
ABU DHABI: Suzuki has come up with its first electric vehicle, the e Vitara, which will compete with models such as the MG ZS EV, BYD Atto 3, and the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV. The Suzuki e Vitara will be a global offering and will be sold in markets such as India, Japan, and Europe.

Notable details include brushed silver AC vents, a twin-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, a part fabric, part leatherette upholstery, and a rotary drive mode selector. It also offers physical AC controls and big door pockets. The main features include drive modes (including ‘Trail’ for AWD), an electronic parking brake with auto hold, hill descent control, Apple CarPlay, and a wireless phone charger.
Production is expected to start in March next year at Suzuki’s Gujarat plant. The e Vitara will be available in global markets by June 2025.
