Skoda reveals 1,088hp Vision Gran Turismo supercar for PS5

ABU DHABI: Skoda has introduced an electric concept car, the Vision Gran Turismo, crafted specifically for PlayStation's Gran Turismo racing game, showcasing its commitment to digital innovation. The Vision Gran Turismo seeks inspiration from the timeless 1957 Skoda 1100 OHC Spider and has been crafted to captivate car lovers of all generations, blending modern allure with nostalgia.

The Vision Gran Turismo utilizes a single-speed transmission and is equipped with an 87kWh lithium-ion battery. Its active aerodynamics and all-wheel-drive system promise exceptional track performance. It features four electric motors that offer an output of 1,020 Newton meters of torque and 1,088 horsepower.

The digital racer delivers superior cornering all thanks to optimized torque distribution between axles. It also boasts a pushrod suspension that is quite similar to Formula E cars enhancing stability, lowering the center of gravity, and reducing body roll.

The interior of the Vision Gran Turismo boasts a carbon fiber steering wheel and a streamlined digital cockpit. Above the wheel, a crystal stone power meter has been positioned to enhance your gaming experience. Its minimalist digital cockpit seeks inspiration from the open-top formula racing cars.

The Vision Gran Turismo is available in two paint finishes and boasts sharp lines. Safety features include distance sensors and a rearview mirror display, ensuring both security and style for drivers.

The Vision Gran Turismo measures 1.95m in width, 4.41m in length, 94.9cm in height, and weighs 1,300 kg. It has an elongated body and an aerodynamically honed hood.
