ABU DHABI: The Toyota Century luxury sedan has been on sale in Japan since 1967. Now, after 56 years, Toyota has added to its flagship range a second-century model in the form of an SUV to keep up with the trend. The Century SUV will be sold alongside the sedan in the Japanese market.

Toyota claims that this new Century model is the quietest in its class, and its production is limited to just 30 units each month. It drives more effortlessly than all the other models in its lineup. Customers can select either sliding or standard doors, and there's even a GRMN variant for those who want a more sporty experience.
The new Century SUV is characterized by a subdued and boxy design and is as big as many full-size SUVs. The rear seats come with various reclining options and features like a driving mode to smooth braking jolts and an entertainment system. The "luggage compartment separate structure" increases privacy and reduces noise by putting laminated pieces of glass between the luggage and the passenger compartment.
The Toyota Century SUV will only be available in Japan at select dealers. This means it won't be coming to the UAE anytime soon.
