Rolls-Royce updates its best-selling SUV, the Cullinan

ABU DHABI: Rolls-Royce has upgraded its top-selling SUV, the Cullinan, with a bold facelift while retaining its V-12 engine. Dubbed as the Cullinan Series II, the updated model represents the very first update for this renowned nameplate that maintains its iconic status after a successful half-decade run.

The first SUV of Rolls-Royce became the bestseller of the brand since its launch in 2019, contributing to record-breaking sales. Rolls-Royce has defied expectations in each new model year.

The Cullinan Series II has an attractive front fascia with an illuminated Pantheon grille and revised LED daytime running lights. While the rear and side of the vehicle maintain a similar appearance, the SUV features new seven-spoke 23-inch wheels and smoother lines. You also get a new paint finish option, "Crystal Over," that offers shimmering effects and enhances the allure of the vehicle.

The revamped interior of Cullinan Series II features a glass panel integrating a central touchscreen and digital gauge cluster, flanked by Illuminated Fascia that can be customized with laser-etched design. New material choices include bamboo-derived Duality Twill fabric and open-pore Grey Stained Ash wood, while leather seats come with a cloud-inspired pattern that has around 107,000 perforations.

The Cullinan retains its twin-turbo 6.75-litre V12 engine, mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive system. In the standard version, it delivers around 571 hp and 850 Nm of torque. You can expect to get 600 hp and 900 Nm with the Black Badge variant. No alterations have been made to Cullinan’s powertrain.

Later this summer, Rolls-Royce will begin accepting orders for the Cullinan Series II, with deliveries targeted by the end of this year. Specific pricing for this vehicle has not been disclosed, but an increase from the current starting price is anticipated.
