Rolls-Royce marks the end of the V-12 era with the Black Badge Wraith Black Arrow
ABU DHABI: Rolls-Royce is all set to wind up the line for the Wraith coupe and its V-12 engine. The company has announced the production of the Black Badge Wraith Black Arrow edition to give luxury fans the taste of a V-12-powered coupe for the last time.
The new Wraith is the finest example of a low-production variant and the first model to sport Roll Royce’s new Gradient Paint. The highlights of the Black Badge Wraith include the special fascia design, the yellow exterior accents, and the Blackwood marquetry adorning the ‘Club Leather’ upholstery and door panels.
Inspired by 1930s analog instruments, the fascia references the technical, raw aesthetic of Thunderbolt’s interior. Inside the cabin, this car features a vivid Starlight Headliner embedded with two thousand pinpoints of light and an illuminated aluminum Thunderbolt Speedform.
Wraith debuted in 2013 and became the favorite of Rolls-Royce fans looking for the Rolls-Royce coupe’s modern interpretation. It is one of the most influential models ever built and designed at Goodwood. This car became so popular that it was even featured in music and movies. In UAE, Rolls Royce Wraith 6.6L Black Badge is available as a 4-seater Coupe at a starting price of AED 1.65 Million.
To keep with the bespoke capabilities of Roll Royce, the Black Arrow edition will use Black Wood open-pore veneer for its internal panels. A rear “waterfall” panel will separate the rear seats. The most important feature of the new Wraith is its V-12 engine which is extremely smooth. The company will only produce twelve of these limited-edition cars.
As the Wraith lineup ends with this last special edition, the company will introduce the Spectre EV couple as its replacement. The deliveries of the Spectre EV will start by the end of this year.
