Rolls-Royce Cullinan takes the final challenge in UAE
ABU DHABI: The Rolls-Royce Cullinan has been going through very gruesome and overly difficult testing program over several years now, where the car had to go through unforgiving testing conditions like off-roads deserts and freezing cold snow areas. However, after several years of such testing, the Cullinan has finally taken the Final Challenge in order to prove its mettle once again, for the very last time.
Partnering with the National Geographic, Rolls-Royce has brought the Cullinan to the test in the desert of UAE with just a few months into its global debut later this year. This Final Challenge has the National Geographic as the official social media broadcaster.
This last test saw Rolls-Royce take on the most difficult deserts of the UAE, including the bad surfaces, as it took on the dry offroad. In addition to this, the car has also taken on a very long distance of rough and off-road challenge.
The Chief Executive Officer of Rolls Royce, Mr. Torsten Müller-Ötvös, had said that the promise he made three years back would be fulfilled. He had promised to involve the public in the testing and development of the Rolls Royce Cullinan and he has definitely stood by it by getting the Final Challenge to be a public trial.
Towards the last part of 2017, Rolls-Royce unveiled the 2018 Phantom in Abu Dhabi. This latest iteration of the car still holds on to its true self of being the “Most Silent Car in the world”. It uses around 130 kgs of insulation and large cast iron joints to make it sound proof. Under the hood, the new Phantom uses a V12 engine that has two turbochargers attached. Together, they make a maximum power of 563 bhp power along with 900 Nm of torque.
