The A110 R Ultime boasts a well-tuned 1.8-litre four-cylinder turbo engine from the Renault Megane RS. It also features significant styling, aerodynamic upgrades, and suspension. Only 110 units will be produced and it has been positioned as a "road-legal circuit car." It likely marks the last petrol-powered performance vehicle produced by Alpine as the brand makes a shift to electric.
At the Paris Motor Show, the special edition Alpine A110 R Ultime was unveiled alongside the Alpine A390 electric SUV concept. Only 15 units of the A110 R Ultime will be produced with a blue leather interior and the exclusive 'La Bleue' gradient exterior, priced at €330,000 (AED 1,306,371), which is double the price of the most expensive current A110.
The remaining 95 examples start at €265,000 (AED 1,047,837), with customization options available through the Alpine Atelier Sur-Mesure program, offering various upholstery choices and 27 exterior colours.
The A110 R Ultime can be personalized with leather, embroidery, and embossing braiding on the steering wheel, centre console, and dashboard. The car boasts 19-inch rear and 18-inch front forged alloy wheels outfitted with Sport Cup Michelin Pilot 2 tyres, enhancing aerodynamics for downforce of an additional 160kg.
For various exterior components, customers can choose from specific colours. The 1.8-litre mid-mounted four-cylinder engine comes with upgraded turbo components and delivers 257kW and 420 Nm, exceeding the 221kW/340 Nm of standard A110 R and the 215kW/320 Nm of Australian A110 S.
The 1104kg A110 R Ultime takes 3.8 seconds to accelerate from 0-100 kmph, 0.1 seconds better than the A110 R Le Mans. It features Ohlins adjustable dampers and a stronger six-speed dual-clutch transmission to handle the extra torque and power. Larger 330mm AP Racing discs, additional cooling ducts, and enhanced brake pads have been used to upgrade the braking system.
The new sports car embodies Alpine's commitment to delivering an enjoyable driving experience and marks a significant milestone in the brand's modern lineup.
