Production-ready BMW Skytop Concept poised for limited production
ABU DHABI: BMW's Skytop concept, unveiled on May 24 at Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, could potentially be produced in limited numbers if sufficient interest is expressed by affluent buyers. This Targa-top convertible is based entirely on the M8, with its exterior design drawing inspiration from the Z8 and 503 models, particularly the former, which serves as a prototype for potential production.

Based on the framework of the M8 Competition Cabriolet, the Skytop incorporates a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, delivering approximately 460 kW of power and 750 Nm of torque. Power is transmitted through an eight-speed automatic transmission to all four wheels.
