Polestar 4 launched in the UAE - 620 km range, 0-100 kmph in 3.8 secs

ABU DHABI: The Polestar 4 has officially debuted in the UAE, further expanding the premium EV market with its impressive range of capabilities. It is touted as the fastest car ever produced by Polestar. Al-Futtaim Electric Mobility unveiled the EV at an exclusive event in Dubai, held at the SEE Institute.

The Polestar 4 combines SUV spaciousness with aerodynamic coupé styling, exuding Scandinavian design. The main innovations include a striking front-light signature and the rear window’s elimination for a better passenger experience. A low front end, frameless windows, retractable door handles, and rear aero blades further enhance its aerodynamic efficiency.

The Polestar 4 is available in 2 configurations including the Long Range Dual Motor version and the Single Motor variant. It is the fastest production car ever and takes just 3.8 seconds to reach 0-100 km/h. The Long Range Dual Motor version generates 400 kW (544 hp), while the Single Motor variant offers 200 kW (272 hp) and up to 620 km (WLTP) of range.

The Polestar 4 leads the sustainability efforts of the brand with the lowest carbon footprint at debut, using eco-friendly materials and renewable energy like PET and recycled aluminium. The Long Range Single Motor version has 19.9 tCO2e of cradle-to-gate carbon footprint, while the Long Range Dual Motor variant has 21.4 tCO2e representing a 24% reduction in emissions in comparison to the original Polestar 2, which had 26.2 tCO2e of footprint.
