KEY TAKEAWAYS
What kind of engine will the next-gen Amaze have?
The next-gen Amaze will be offered with the 1.2-litre petrol engine, mated with either a CVT automatic gearbox or a 5-speed manual. What will the new Honda Amaze launch?
The new Honda Amaze is scheduled to launch in India on December 4, 2024.The front end of the new Amaze is similar to the Honda City. It features LED headlights with integrated DRLs and a four-point signature from the Elevate SUV. It also comes with a large grille with low-mounted fog lights and gloss accents. The rear end closely resembles the Honda City, with a clean rear bumper and similar tail lamps.
The sketches of the Amaze show no sunroof, which can be a big omission, in comparison to its closest rival, the Suzuki Dzire.
The new Amaze impresses with its sharp character line that runs along the sedan’s multi-spoke alloy wheels and length from the headlights. The new Amaze has adopted a more family-inspired, mature look in comparison to the outgoing model.
The interior of the 2025 Honda Amaze bears close resemblance to the Elevate, with a 10.25-inch freestanding touchscreen and beige-and-black colour scheme. The steering wheel and instrument cluster are also similar to the Elevate. It will also come equipped with an ADAS suite, making it the first model in its segment to offer this feature.
Similar to the Elevate, the new Amaze is anticipated to be based on the Global Small Car platform, though it's not clear if its dimensions will be affected by this. The second-gen Amaze has a 2,470 mm wheelbase and measures 3,995 mm in length.
It will be offered with the 1.2-litre petrol engine, mated with either a CVT automatic gearbox or a 5-speed manual. There are also talks of a CNG variant that will later join the lineup.
With a more mature look and improved features, it offers better value in the sub-compact sedan category. The new Amaze is scheduled to launch on December 4, 2024.
