New Classic trim added to the 2024 Mini Cooper Electric lineup

ABU DHABI: Mini has expanded its lineup with the introduction of the latest Cooper Electric available in the entry-level Classic trim. This new model promotes eco-friendly driving and continues Mini's tradition of sleek design. The Cooper Electric Classic runs on an electric drivetrain and boasts a modest power output ensuring an efficient and smooth ride. 

The new Mini Cooper E is equipped with a front-mounted electric motor producing 184 PS and 290 Nm of torque which is not as powerful as the higher-spec Cooper SE. It takes 7.3 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph. Its 40.7 kWh battery pack is smaller in size and provides a 305 km driving range (on the WLTP cycle) and supports up to 75 kW fast charging capability.

The 2024 Mini Cooper E Classic features distinctive round headlights with LED signatures and an octagonal front grille. It is available in contrasting roof finishes and striking body colors along with aerodynamically optimized wheels that range from 16 to 18 inches. 

Inside, the Vescin synthetic leather upholstery and two-tone black and blue knit material surfaces with a perforated houndstooth pattern give an elegant touch to the vehicle. A 9.44-inch circular OLED touchscreen manages the infotainment system.

The Mini Cooper E comes with Active Cruise Control to monitor road conditions and a Parking Assistant for hassle-free parking in congested areas. According to Mini's head, Stefanie Wurst, this entry-level model offers 184 hp, delivering both acceleration and agility without compromise.
