Mercedes-AMG GT 4-door EV to exceed 1000hp making it the most powerful AMG

ABU DHABI: Mercedes-AMG, acclaimed for its powerful V-12 and V-8 engines, is making its entry into the performance EV segment with the introduction of the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-door Coupe EV in 2025. This high-performance car is a breakthrough as it will be the first vehicle based on the AMG.EA electric car platform.

The Mercedes-AMG GT 4-door Coupe EV will boast over 1000 horsepower and 1300 Nm of torque claiming the title of the AMG's most powerful model yet.

The AMG GT 4-door Coupe EV will come with advanced electric motor technology from Yasa. Mercedes acquired this British firm in 2021. Yasa's motors are known for their torque density, high power, and compact size.

The AMG GT 4-door Coupe EV’s spy shots suggest it retains its predecessors' low-slung silhouette. It seeks inspiration from the Vision 2025 concept and features redesigned headlamps, a lit grille, a retractable spoiler, a split rear window, and flush door handles.

The bold design of the cabin is bound to impress car enthusiasts. Following the automaker's trend it comes with a full-width HD screen. While a four-seater initially, the upcoming models may come with an extra rear seat to give tough competition to the e-tron GT and Taycan.

The 2025 Mercedes-AMG GT 4-door Coupe EV will mark a leap forward in terms of design and performance, blending electric tech with AMG’s heritage for an electrifying drive.
