Production of the 35th Anniversary Miatas will be limited by time and not units. The RF and soft-top models will be exclusively offered in a triple-layer Artisan Red paint. The standard Roadster comes with smaller 16-inch alloy wheels, while the hardtop version is equipped with 17-inch wheels.
Both models feature a manually operated beige folding top, reminiscent of the red-over-tan interiors found in past editions. This design pays homage to the early 2000s NB Special Edition and the mid-1990s NA M-Edition.
The striking paint extends to the door cards, key fob, and air vent bezels, with a 35th Anniversary logo on the floor mats and headrests. Unlike the Recaros of the 30th Anniversary model, this edition comes with regular seats and lacks Bilstein dampers and front Brembo brakes. The 35th Anniversary edition is completely focused on comfort. Production of this special edition model will be limited by time and not units.
Mazda will number the 35th Anniversary Miatas individually but won't limit production to satisfy the demands of everyone. Near the rear wheel, a plaque will indicate the production sequence of each car.
Despite the decade-long run of the ND (fourth-generation MX-5 Miata) since its debut in 2014, Mazda hinted at more special editions, possibly for next year to celebrate the ND's 10th anniversary.
The commemorative model’s pricing and its availability in global markets have not been revealed yet. Because of its popularity surging in the budget-friendly sports car segment, this special edition will boost its market presence.
