Maserati reveals the GT2 Stradale
ABU DHABI: Maserati has revealed a new aggressive variant of its MC20 supercar, the GT2 Stradale. Inspired by GT2 racing, it is designed for track performance specifically.

The Maserati GT2 Stradale is expected to cost between $242,995 (AED 892,000) and $522,000 (AED 1,920,000).Compared to the standard MC20, this new model boasts a 60kg weight reduction, enhancing its handling and agility. Additionally, it is equipped with an upgraded 3.0-litre V6 turbo-petrol engine producing a maximum power of 640 hp, which is 10 hp more than the standard version. The improved acceleration and power make the new Maserati car an excellent contender on both road and track.
The Maserati GT2 Stradale takes 2.8 seconds to achieve 0-100 kmph, all thanks to its 1,365kg weight. It outpaces the Ferrari 296 GTB and matches the McLaren 750S despite having less power.
The Maserati GT2 Stradale gets a prominent aero kit with a large rear wing and a new front diffuser, generating downforce of 500 kg at 280 kmph, in comparison to the MC20's 145kg. It shares the braking systems, advanced suspension, and steering of GT2.
The new Corsa Evo mode is also available with this model with a four-level traction control system. It also comes with optional performance packs including an electronic limited-slip differential, Michelin semi-slick tyres, and four-point seat belts.
Maserati has not yet announced the price for the new model, but it is expected to range from $242,995 (AED 892,000) for the MC20 to $522,000 (AED 1,920,000) for the track-focused GT2 version.
