Lego and Dodge collaborate to add models to Lego Speed Champions range

ABU DHABI: Lego, the plastic toy construction company from Denmark and Dodge, the American automobile manufacturer have joined hands on a special project, which caters to the young muscle car fans. Yes, you read that right, young fans.

The new Lego Speed Champions set now features two most amazing and ultimate muscle cars, the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon and the Dodge Charger R/T. On coming together, the two companies have constructed downsized versions of these cars for the fans who don’t have to worry about fuelling or maintaining them rather just fun.

Both cars will come with individual attributes like the Charger will have an alternate engine cover and a removable supercharger while the Dodge Challenger will have components like two unique set of wheels, rubber tyres, and a removable windshield.

The Lego Speed Champions set will include three mini-figures along with the fantasy cars. The pack includes a race marshal, a Charger and Challenger driver.

The head of Passenger Car Brands, Dodge//SRT, Chrysler and Fiat at FCA North America, Steve Beahm said, “We know that many of our Dodge//SRT enthusiasts become fans of the brand at an early age, and like me, also grow up building Lego vehicles that we dream of one day driving on the road.”

Beahm added, “With the new Speed Champions set featuring the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon and the 1970 Dodge Charger R/T, our youngest fans can now build and jump into the ‘driver’s’ seat of two of their ultimate fantasy muscle cars.”
