Huracan Super Trofeo Evo Collector 2019 unveiled by Lamborghini

ABU DHABI: As if supercars are not rare enough, some manufacturers go ahead to create even more exclusive versions to make them really coveted. One such car hails from the Italian sports car manufacturer, Lamborghini and is called the Huracan Super Trofeo Evo Collector 2019.

The Huracan Super Trofeo Evo 10th edition was launched last summer, but Lamborghini decided to unveil the Collector 2019 edition at Geneva (not at the auto show). The car is eligible for Lamborghini single-brand championships and made its debut at an event held at the headquarters of prestigious watchmaker Roger Dubuis Manufacture, which has been a partner with Lamborghini Squadra Corse since 2017.

When looking at the livery of the Huracan Super Trofeo Evo Collector 2019, you can see the apparent relationship between both the brands. The roof graphics of the car resemble the design of the Excalibur Huracan Performante timepiece from the watch manufacturer. You also get the watch’s ‘X’ design which is derived from the X frame that protects the car’s engine bay. The crown of the watch is inspired by the wheel’s single nut while the car’s rims are reminiscent of the back case from the timepiece. Rounding off the changes is the ‘Roger Dubuis’ lettering on the windshield and central fin above the engine compartment.

The Super Trofeo Evo Collector gets treatment by Lamborghini Centro Stile and wears black paint with gold livery. The front bumper, hood, sides, rear fin, and diffuser all get the gold livery. This creates an accented look, bringing focus to the over the top aerodynamics of the Huracan Super Trofeo.

Power to this limited edition Huracan is derived from the same unit as the regular version of the car. This means a 5.2-litre V10 power plant that makes 630 PS. The Huracan Super Trofeo Evo Collector 2019 is a complete track-focused machine and has all the right credentials to back it. We are not sure exactly how many units will be made and if it will ever see the light of day in our region.
