Honda unveils 0 Series EV Concept at CES 2024

ABU DHABI: Honda is all set to revolutionize the electric vehicle world with the two new concepts- Space-Hub and Saloon introduced at CES 2024. In 2026, the carmaker will debut the first series of the model, inspired by the Saloon concept, in North America. After that, the model will be introduced in Europe, Africa, Japan, Asia, the Middle East, and South America.

The Honda Saloon introduced by the automotive giant at CES 2024 impresses with its distinct retro-modern "H" logo, sharp, edgy design, rectangular lighting, and a high-tech, minimalistic interior. The steering wheel looks futuristic and sustainably sourced materials enhance its overall appeal. 

The Space-Hub minivan concept, on the other hand,  hints at an evolution in minivan design. It offers clear visibility and has an expansive cabin.

Both the Space-Hub and Saloon represent Honda's "0 Series" philosophy. Both these concept models signal a comprehensive shift in the approach of Honda to EVs, encompassing innovative in-car tech and appealing design.

The EV lineup of Honda includes the upcoming Honda Prologue. It is an all-electric SUV designed in collaboration with General Motors. Another impressive vehicle in Honda’s EV lineup is e:N1 EV, a mid-size SUV that is being produced in Thailand. The stylish and compact Honda E can already be seen on roads in Japan and Europe showcasing high-end technology features.

The Honda E features a 35.5 kWh battery that offers a range of 220 kilometres for city driving. It takes 8 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph and boasts around 150 horsepower. It features advanced tech like digital rearview mirrors and dual touchscreen interfaces.
