Honda to showcase new EV concepts at Tokyo Motor Show 2023

ABU DHABI: Honda is all set to wow car enthusiasts at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show with a range of world premieres. The highlight of these premieres will be the Specialty Sports Concept, an electric vehicle that lacks an internal combustion engine but still provides an enjoyable driving experience. 

Honda has not released teasers or images of the Specialty Sports Concept, keeping the details secret for now. The only information we have is that this concept will be an all-electric sports car that could go into production. We are eager to find out whether it relates to the Sports EV Concept that debuted at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show. 

While the Specialty Sports Concept will be the showstopper of the 2023 Japan Mobility Show, Honda is also gearing up for the other world premieres. At the show, Honda will introduce a unique hatchback concept called the Honda SUSTANIA-C concept. The SUSTANIA-C Concept sports a white roof with a red hue and looks like a scaled-down Honda E. It has been made from acrylic resin that can be repurposed and recycled.

Honda will also introduce the Pocket Concept, a motorcycle that has been designed keeping in mind environmental sustainability.

The Honda CI-MEV concept and Honda SC e Scooter concept will also be premiered at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show. Honda CI-MEV concept is a two-seat, two-door SUV that targets individuals with limited mobility and areas lacking public transportation.

The Honda SC e is a groundbreaking electric scooter that is powered by two Honda Mobile Power Pack e units and utilizes battery swapping technology.
