Fiat introduces the all-new Grande Panda, shares platform with Citroen C3

ABU DHABI: Fiat has dropped images and shared interesting details about the all-new 2025 Grande Panda, a modern iteration of its iconic city car now redesigned as a subcompact SUV. It will be available with two powertrain options - hybrid and electric and will maintain its predecessor’s retro-futuristic, boxy style.

The production Grande Panda features prominent Panda branding reflecting Fiat's new "strength and uniqueness" brand ethos. Design elements, like pixel-style headlights, seem to be inspired by Fiat's Lingotto factory windows. Another important design feature is the oval which has been used to reduce the cost and weight of various elements.

The Grande Panda measures 3,990mm in length and is a bit shorter than the Euro-spec Citroen C3. This increase in size contributes to a roomier interior that can easily accommodate up to five passengers at one time. It will utilize the Platform of Stellantis Smart Car, shared with the Citroen e-C3 and C3.

It is expected that the Grande Panda’s powertrain options will be similar to those of the Citroen C3/e-C3: an electric variant equipped with a 44 kWh lithium-iron-phosphate battery pack and a 111 hp front-mounted motor, along with a 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine (100 hp), six-speed dual-clutch transmission, and a 28 hp electric motor.

Produced in Serbia, the Grande Panda aims to be one of the most budget-friendly models of Fiat, competing with affordable vehicles like the Dacia Sandero and the Citroen C3.
