Facelifted Rolls-Royce Ghost makes its grand debut
ABU DHABI: Since 2020, the Ghost, one of the exclusive models of Rolls-Royce, has been in production. After four years it has got a subtle facelift. The updates involve minor details that you can easily notice upon the front exterior design’s closer inspection.

For the performance-oriented Black Badge variant, two power outputs are available: 563 hp and 592 hp.The facelifted Ghost boasts blockier styling similar to the Series II Cullinan, including daytime running lights and a smaller lower grille. As per Rolls-Royce, the average Ghost buyer spends 10 per cent of the car's retail price on customization, prompting the introduction of top-notch material options such as Duality Twill and Grey Stained Ash.
Grey Stained Ash features microscopic metallic particles with hand-stained wood for a shimmering effect, while Duality Twill which has been beautifully woven from bamboo seems to be inspired by sailing yacht ropes. Duality Twill interior comprises around 17.7 km of thread and 2.2 million stitches, requiring 20 hours to finish.
Across the dashboard, the Ghost boasts a revised glass panel with software for the digital instrument panel which has now been colour-matched to the car. In-car connectivity has also been improved, giving the flexibility to connect two streaming devices to rear passengers. The rear infotainment system supports hidden USB-C ports and wireless headphones. Additionally, the amplifier of the sound system has been upgraded to 1,400W.
The latest Ghost retains the twin-turbocharged 6.75-litre V12 engine and the same planar suspension system as its predecessor. For the Black Badge variant which is more performance-oriented, two power outputs are available: 563 hp and 592 hp.
The Black Badge model features reduced pedal travel, raised brake bite point, and a ‘Low’ drive mode that at 90 per cent throttle leads to 50 per cent quicker gear changes.
While there is no confirmation yet available, the new Rolls-Royce Ghost is expected to hit the UAE roads next year.
