In parallel, UAEV entered a new partnership with ZEEKER, reinforcing the UAE’s expanding network of global EV collaborations. EMOBIITY also signed a key agreement with EMAS, a company under the Elsewedy Group. Day 2 witnessed a major national step forward with the official launch of the UAE’s National Bi-Directional Charging Infrastructure. The ceremony was attended by H.E. Eng. Sharif Alolama, Undersecretary for Energy and Petroleum Affairs, signaling high-level commitment to building a smart, responsive EV energy grid.

This strategic rollout will allow EVs not just to consume electricity but also to contribute back to the grid, enhancing the UAE’s long-term energy flexibility and resilience.
