BMW introduces the M4 CS with 550 horsepower

ABU DHABI: BMW has unveiled its latest creation, the M4 CS, which showcases high-performance engineering. It has been positioned between the M4 CSL and M4 Competition Coupé. With a blend of everyday usability and track-ready agility, it offers the perfect balance of both worlds.

The M4 CS is equipped with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six engine that produces around 550 horsepower, propelling it from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds. Derived from the BMW M3/M4 range and inspired by their dominance in 24-hour and DTM races, it is meticulously crafted for track performance.

The M4 CS boasts BMW’s M xDrive all-wheel-drive system and an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission, ensuring precise control. Its Nürburgring lap time is 7:21.989 demonstrating dynamic prowess and agile handling.

The M4 CS is 20kg lighter with carbon fibre-reinforced plastic parts and a titanium exhaust silencer.

The M4 CS is well-crafted and comes with carbon fibre-reinforced plastic to enhance aesthetics and performance and reduce weight. Every detail, from the aerodynamic elements to the hood and the roof, is tailored to amplify the racing DNA of the car.

Inside, the M4 CS offers cutting-edge technology and luxurious comfort, including a BMW Curved Display with M-specific features and M Carbon bucket seats. It comes with the M Drive Professional package, a Laptimer, M Traction Control, and Drift Analyser, balancing daily usability with track performance.

Production of the M4 CS will start in July at BMW Group Plant Dingolfing, with orders opening by the end of May. The M4 CS embodies daily practicality and high-performance engineering, offering an enthralling driving experience.
