All-new Lincoln Aviator launched at the 2019 Dubai Motor Show
The all-new 2020 Lincoln Aviator has been officially launched in the UAE at the Dubai International Motor Show, which got concluded recently, courtesy Al Tayer Motors, which is the official importer and distributor of the Lincoln cars in the Middle East.
The Lincoln Aviator is a versatile, performance-focused SUV aimed to impress with its futuristic technologies and driving dynamics. Slated to enter the market in January 2020, the SUV will come with a “greet” feature wherein the suspension system of the car gets automatically lowered as a welcoming gesture, this is a part of the Presidential trim. The SUV will have the ability to scan the surface ahead to let you cruise through an uneven road with the utmost ease.
The regional manager of Lincoln Middle East, Sami Malkawi said, “Lincoln is in the midst of a sales spike in the region and the all-new Aviator represents the very best of our brand DNA, and signals the direction for Lincoln vehicles going forward. It offers elegance, effortless performance and unparalleled versatility – a true representation of Lincoln’s vision for the future.”
Some notable tech features of the three-row SUV are adaptive cruise control with a stop-and-go assist, automated parking, 30-way power-adjustable seats, a Revel Ultima 3D audio system with 28 speakers and wireless phone charging tray. Additionally, it gets a 10.1-inch LCD unit as standard with easy-to-read graphics.
At heart, the Lincoln Aviator will be powered by a twin-turbo 3.0-litre V6 engine that churns out a max power of 405 PS and a peak torque of 562 Nm, mated to a 10-speed SelectShift auto transmission system. There are five different driving modes on offer, including Normal, Conserve, Excite, Slippery and Deep Conditions.
As far as safety is concerned, the Aviator will be equipped with the brand’s Co-Pilot360 Plus, an advanced safety suite better than the standard Lincoln Co-Pilot360. Features that make it better are Traffic Jam Assist, Evasive Steer Assist, Reverse Brake Assist and Active Park Assist Plus.
