The new model draws design cues from the 1000 SP and features distinctive elements like unconventional headlight styling without binnacles. However, it also has a few signature touches including exclusive details like the rear "Abarth" branding, roof-mounted intake, and louvered rear window.

The engine has been slightly moved forward, adopting the 4Cs 1.7-liter turbo-four cylinder petrol. With this setup, it has been successful in maintaining the original output at 237 hp and 258 lb-ft. The engine is paired with a dual-clutch six-speed gearbox. It can achieve a 257 kmph top speed.

While Abarth has not disclosed the exact curb weight it emphasizes that carbon fiber has been used for the entire body leading to a significant reduction in weight reduction compared to the standard 4C. Additionally, it is also being estimated that there will be enhancements in the suspension tuning and powertrain, offering a different driving experience in comparison to its 4C counterpart.

The new Abarth Classiche 1300 OT is a great addition to the lineup of sports cars. With no full-size mockup available and only five units planned for production, you can explore a one-third-scale model.
