Abarth Classiche 1300 OT unveiled; pays homage to brand’s racing legacy
ABU DHABI: Stellantis keeps the Alfa Romeo 4C’s spirit alive with the Abarth Classiche 1300 OT’s launch, paying homage to the 1960s Fiat Abarth OT 1300 racer. Stellantis' heritage department has developed this car through the Reloaded by Creators program.

The new Abarth Classiche 1300 OT has adopted the 4Cs 1.7-liter turbo-four cylinder petrol engine helping it maintain the original output.The new model draws design cues from the 1000 SP and features distinctive elements like unconventional headlight styling without binnacles. However, it also has a few signature touches including exclusive details like the rear "Abarth" branding, roof-mounted intake, and louvered rear window.
The engine has been slightly moved forward, adopting the 4Cs 1.7-liter turbo-four cylinder petrol. With this setup, it has been successful in maintaining the original output at 237 hp and 258 lb-ft. The engine is paired with a dual-clutch six-speed gearbox. It can achieve a 257 kmph top speed.
While Abarth has not disclosed the exact curb weight it emphasizes that carbon fiber has been used for the entire body leading to a significant reduction in weight reduction compared to the standard 4C. Additionally, it is also being estimated that there will be enhancements in the suspension tuning and powertrain, offering a different driving experience in comparison to its 4C counterpart.
