2023 Subaru Crosstrek and 2023 Toyota Agya debut in Indonesia
ABU DHABI: Two of the leading automakers, Subaru and Toyota, have launched their subcompact crossover and compact crossover in Indonesia, called the all-new 2023 Toyota Agya and 2023 Subaru Crosstrek. The new Agya is available in three trim options - GR Sport, E, and G, and the new Subaru Crosstrek is available in a single trim option known as 2.0 i-S EyeSight.
The 2023 Toyota Agya looks bigger than its predecessor because it is underpinned by the same DNGA platform found on the Raize, Avanza/Veloz, and the new Vios. It shares the entirety of its underpinnings and design with the Perodua Axia and Daihatsu Ayla. The new Agya is powered by a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated three-cylinder DOHC Dual VVT-i petrol engine. And, instead of a 4-speed auto, it is being offered with a D-CVT for improved acceleration, fuel consumption, and refinement.
All three Toyota Agya variants are equipped with top-notch features, including LED Headlamps, 15-inch machined alloy wheels, hill start assist, immobilizer, and alarm, speed sensing auto lock, vehicle stability control, SRS airbag, anti-locking braking, Isofix, and rear parking sensor.
The 2023 Subaru Crosstrek has a Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive drivetrain and is powered by a 2.0-litre ‘Boxer’ cylinder engine. It is paired with the dual-function X-Mode system and features impressive specifications and equipment such as LED fog lights, a sunroof, 18-inch alloy wheels, a dual-zone air-conditioning system, LED combination rear lights, and a 10-way power-adjustable seat. This solitary variant receives leather seating, aluminium pedals, dual-zone climate control, and an electronic parking brake.
Subaru’s crosstrek has advanced driver assistance features like lane departure prevention, pre-collision throttle management, reverse AEB, eight airbags, a high beam assist, autonomous emergency braking, lead vehicle start alert, adaptive cruise control, pre-collision braking, preceding vehicle adaptive steering control, and lane centering control.
Both these cars are value for money and come with distinct features that will definitely appeal to car enthusiasts. Comment below to let us know which car you would want to buy!
