2023 Aston Martin Valhalla arrives in Singapore; only 5 units on offer
ABU DHABI: The all-new 2023 Aston Martin Valhalla hybrid supercar has made its official debut in Singapore, with five units of the exclusive model being presented at the local Aston Martin showroom. This marks the first time the hypercar has been available in Southeast Asia, and it is sure to generate significant interest from car enthusiasts and prospective buyers in the region
The Valhalla is the rarest model of Aston Martin, with only 999 units to be produced worldwide. As mentioned above, Singapore received five of these units, each priced at $4.8 million (including COE), which is equivalent to AED 13,125,627.
The Valhalla is the brand’s first model equipped with a mid-engine configuration and its first plug-in hybrid model. It underpins the same chassis, aerodynamic, and electronics expertise forged in Formula One
The Valhalla is the epitome of Aston Martin’s engineering excellence, with a lightweight carbon fibre body that is not only visually striking but also aerodynamically optimised. Under the hood, the car boasts a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine paired with a battery-electric system that delivers a total output of 1012 PS. The power is sent to the wheels via an all-new 8-speed Dual-Clutch (DCT) transmission, which provides lightning-fast gear shifts for maximum performance.
The suspension incorporates a pushrod setup at the front, a multi-link system at the rear, and dampers and springs that reduce unsprung mass. The Valhalla also features a lightweight exhaust system that houses adjustable flaps, giving it an “authentic Aston Martin sound character”. Other key exterior appointments include a wraparound trademark grille, matrix LED headlights, a toned-down rear diffuser, angular side skirts, and sharp wing mirrors. The car rides on 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels shod with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tyres.
Inside, the Valhalla features a “pared back cockpit design with clear, simple ergonomics unashamedly focused around the driver”. The interior is a work of art, with a minimalist design and high-tech features like a digital instrument cluster and touchscreen infotainment system.
In conclusion, the Aston Martin Valhalla's arrival in Singapore marks a significant milestone for the brand, as it continues to expand its presence in Southeast Asia. The limited production of this exclusive hypercar is sure to generate significant interest from car enthusiasts and potential buyers, and it is a testament to Aston Martin's commitment to innovation and engineering excellence.
