2019 Lamborghini Huracan uncovered
ABU DHABI: Lamborghini is keen on introducing the new 2019 facelifted Huracan anytime soon this year. The first few preview images of the same have already emerged following which we expect the official reveal to happen soon.
The new 2019 Lamborghini Huracan will come with a few visual and chassis upgrades along with some mechanical tuning to increase its power output. Having launched in 2014, the Huracan has only been treated with minor changes, involving both, the base coupe and the Spyder convertible versions.
The 2019 Lamborghini Huracan, whose prototype was caught testing under the camouflage cover recently, will come with a restyled front bumper that would possess the capability to hold shutters or flaps for improved aerodynamics. The air intakes will come with a new design, side air scoops will feature new horizontal fins, and the rear end will also see some significant upgrades, including new twin-exhaust at the centre and restyled lights.
The new twin-exhaust mounted at the centre is taken from the Lamborghini Huracan Performante that was launched last year. What this means is that you can expect some serious acoustic upgrade in the 2019 version of Huracan. Additionally, a new rear diffuser will also be a part of the upcoming version that would perform brilliantly with the brand’s active aero technology, previewed earlier on the Aventador SVJ.
Inside, the 2019 Lamborghini Huracan is expected to come with a new Audi-inspired infotainment system and upmarket switchgear only to keep up with the competition. However, autonomous technologies or the ones that assist the driver in few or many times are likely to be ignored. This would keep the Huracan a driver’s car in the purest form possible.
Under the hood, the 2019 Lamborghini Huracan’s 5.2-litre V10 engine is expected to draw more power than before, a bump of 20-30 hp is expected and more torque of course. Moreover, a fractional improvement is expected on its 0-100 kmph time. The top speed will also be a bit higher than before.
The new 2019 Lamborghini Huracan rivals the Ferrari 488 in the global market. The release of images makes it evident that we aren’t very far away from the official reveal. Stay tuned with us for more related updates and stories.
