2019 Chevy Camaro in new colour up for SEMA show

ABU DHABI: Chevrolet is making its way for this year’s iteration of the SEMA Show. Added to that, the company has also revealed a new colour given in the 2019 Camaro. Hence, the company will be displaying the car between October 30 and November 2 in the new colour paint known as Shock, which is a bright yellow colour. This colour tone will be on sale starting next year.

According to Chevrolet, this bright new colour tone will give the 2019 version of the Camaro a new look. Apart from just the new tone, the company will also offer new accessories and performance add-ons to the car. These accessories will include black wing spoiler, carbon fibre on the fuel lid, Brembo brakes with six pistons, Recaro Performance seats and Camaro badges on the fenders.

The Director of Chevrolet Cars and Marketing, Mr. Steve Majoros did not fail to mention that there is a fresh appearance for the Camaro for 2019 with more choices offered and newer technologies added. This new Shock colour tone does turn out to be a wonderful canvas for customisation so that the customers can make the Camaro their own.

The 2019 iteration of the Chevy Camaro was first unveiled in April and had a bolder design. The most highlighting thing about the car is that it has a different front grille design for each of the variants, just to make them stand out among the rest. The tail lights have been restyled too and have LED units.

There would be three engine options on offer. The smallest motor would be a 2.0-litre four-cylinder unit making 279 PS of power and 400 Nm of torque. The mid-spec would be a V6 motor that can make 340 PS of power and 385 Nm of torque. And for the top-of-the-line model, there would be a humongous 6.2-litre V8 engine which would thrust out 461 PS of power and a staggering 617 Nm of torque.

Besides just the Shock colour shade, there would also be the convertible Camaro LT on display that would be painted in Metallic Satin Steel Gray.
